By Dave Jenkins
Psalm 101 is a psalm of resolve, integrity, holiness, and faithful leadership before the Lord.
In this episode of Reading the Bible Daily with Dave, Dave Jenkins walks through Psalm 101 and explains how this psalm calls believers to walk with integrity in private life, reject wickedness, guard their homes, and lead faithfully under God’s authority.
This psalm reminds us that worship is not merely sung but lived through faithful obedience and holy conduct. Psalm 101 ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, the perfectly righteous King who walked in perfect integrity and empowers His people to pursue holiness by His grace.

Reflection
Psalm 101 teaches us that true worship shapes the whole life. The believer who sings rightly before God is also called to walk uprightly before Him. Integrity begins in the heart, shows itself in the home, and bears fruit in faithful obedience.
For the Christian, this kind of integrity is not produced by self-effort alone. It flows from union with Christ, who fulfilled perfect righteousness and now empowers His people by the Holy Spirit to walk in holiness.
