Full Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Matthew 5:18; John 17:17).
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all (Genesis 1:1–2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ (John 4:24; Psalm 103:13; John 3:16).
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth (Luke 1:35; John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide (John 14:16–17; 16:7–14; Romans 8:9).
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3–8; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:1–5).
We believe in the universal church, the living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church as the visible expression of Christ’s body, which is to be biblically governed, committed to the faithful preaching of the Word, administration of the sacraments, and exercise of church discipline (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Timothy 3:15).
We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others, and that their conduct should be blameless before the world. We believe Christians should be faithful stewards of their possessions and seek to realize for themselves and others the full stature of maturity in Christ (Romans 12:1–2; Ephesians 4:1–3; Galatians 5:22–23).
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water into the name of the triune God. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).
We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. We believe that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority (Romans 14:4–12; Acts 5:29; Matthew 22:21).
We believe that local churches can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperating with one another in a spirit of love and truth. Each church, however, is the sole judge of the measure and method of cooperation (1 Corinthians 1:10; Philippians 1:5; Amos 3:3).
We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20:11–15; Matthew 25:31–46).
We believe that marriage is the exclusive, covenantal union of one man and one woman for life. We reject all forms of sexual immorality, including homosexuality, transgenderism, gender fluidity, and any distortion of God’s design for sex and marriage. We affirm the Nashville and Danvers Statements (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Romans 1:26–27).
We believe that all human life is sacred from conception to natural death and that every human being is made in the image of God. We affirm the value and dignity of every life, including the unborn, elderly, disabled, and marginalized (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13–16; Proverbs 24:11).
We believe that men and women are equal in dignity and worth but have different, complementary roles in the home and church. We reject all forms of feminism that undermine biblical authority and the ordination of women to the office of pastor/elder (1 Timothy 2:11–14; Titus 1:5–9; Genesis 2:18–24).
We believe Christians are called to live as salt and light in the world, engaging culture with truth and grace while remaining distinct in holiness. We reject worldliness and syncretism, and affirm the need for discernment and godliness in every sphere of life (Matthew 5:13–16; Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 2:9–12).
We affirm that the Bible is inspired, inerrant, infallible, sufficient, and authoritative for all of life and godliness. We reject any teaching or practice that adds to, subtracts from, or contradicts the Word of God. The Scriptures are our ultimate standard for doctrine, life, worship, and counseling (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; Matthew 5:18).
We affirm the sufficiency of God’s Word and support the model of biblical counseling as defined by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We reject all approaches that integrate secular psychology, trauma-based frameworks, or methodologies that undermine biblical sufficiency (Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:3; Hebrews 4:12).
We reject theological liberalism, progressive Christianity, open theism, dominionism, the Seven Mountain Mandate, the prosperity gospel, the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), contemplative spirituality, New Age practices, Bethel, Hillsong, Elevation Music, and all distortions of the gospel. We affirm the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Reformation and stand with the confessions of the church (Jude 3; Galatians 1:6–9; 2 Corinthians 11:3–4).
We believe that all things exist for the glory of God. The goal of creation, redemption, and the Christian life is to magnify God’s holiness, grace, justice, and truth. Soli Deo Gloria (Romans 11:36; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Ephesians 1:3–14).
We believe that worship is regulated by Scripture and must be God-centered, Christ-exalting, and Spirit-empowered. We reject pragmatic, man-centered worship practices and affirm that worship should be grounded in the Word of God, reflecting both reverence and joy. We oppose the use of music that originates from false teaching ministries, including Bethel, Hillsong, and Elevation, and we affirm historic, biblically sound worship rooted in church history (John 4:24; Psalm 96:1–9; Hebrews 12:28–29).
We believe that true science and Scripture never contradict, as God is the Author of both natural and special revelation. We affirm a literal six-day creation and young earth position, while holding Christian charity toward those who differ. We reject Darwinian evolution, naturalism, and scientism as incompatible with biblical truth (Genesis 1–2; Romans 1:18–25; Hebrews 11:3).
We reject the current trend of deconstruction that seeks to dismantle biblical Christianity under the guise of personal authenticity or trauma recovery. True growth comes through discipleship, not deconstruction. Sanctification is rooted in truth, not doubt or relativism (John 17:17; Colossians 2:6–8; 2 Timothy 4:3–4).
We reject the use of the Enneagram, yoga, and contemplative spirituality, which are rooted in pagan and mystical traditions. These practices undermine biblical discernment and the sufficiency of Scripture. Instead, we affirm spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and service, all grounded in the Word (Colossians 2:6–10; 1 Timothy 4:7–8; 2 Timothy 3:16–17).
We reject the modern obsession with platform-building and influence-chasing that prioritizes branding over biblical fidelity. Ministry is a stewardship to serve the church, not a means to gain fame or celebrity. We affirm the necessity of humility, integrity, and faithfulness in all who serve (2 Corinthians 4:1–5; John 3:30; 1 Peter 5:1–6).
We affirm the biblical definition of marriage as a covenantal, lifelong union between one man and one woman. We reject all forms of sexual immorality, including homosexuality, transgenderism, gender fluidity, fornication, adultery, and pornography. We affirm the Nashville and Danvers Statements (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9–11).
We believe God created humanity in His image as male and female. We reject all ideologies that distort or redefine gender, including transgenderism and non-binary constructs. Gender is a gift from God and is not fluid but rooted in biological and biblical reality (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13–16; Deuteronomy 22:5).
We affirm the dignity, value, and equality of women in Christ while recognizing the distinct and complementary roles of men and women in the home and church. We reject the practice of women serving as pastors or elders, as this is contrary to Scripture (1 Timothy 2:12–14; Titus 1:5–9; 1 Corinthians 14:33–35).
We believe in the necessity of the local church and its God-ordained leadership. Church discipline, rightly practiced, is a loving, biblical means of restoring believers and protecting the purity of the church. We reject unbiblical authoritarianism and spiritual abuse in all forms (Matthew 18:15–17; Galatians 6:1; 1 Corinthians 5:1–13).
We reject ungodly/dictatorial authoritarian leadership models that manipulate or control others. Spiritual leadership should reflect Christlike humility, service, and faithfulness. We grieve the damage caused by spiritual abuse and seek to protect the vulnerable while upholding biblical authority and accountability (1 Peter 5:1–4; Ezekiel 34:1–10; Matthew 20:25–28).
We reject all forms of false teaching and heretical movements that distort the gospel or undermine biblical doctrine. This includes—but is not limited to—the Word of Faith movement, prosperity gospel, progressive Christianity, the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), and cults. These movements promote doctrines contrary to Scripture and must be opposed with truth and love (Galatians 1:6–9; Jude 3–4; 2 Peter 2:1–3).
We reject the idea of dominionism as advanced by the NAR and believe that the Seven Mountain Mandate emanates from the pit of hell. Christ will build His Church—not through conquering societal mountains but through the faithful proclamation of His Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God (Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 1:18–25; 2 Timothy 4:1–5).
We reject the practice of reading modern “Bible prophecy” into current events and the speculative misuse of Scripture. We affirm the already/not yet reality of the kingdom of God and believe all biblical prophecy points to Christ and His redemptive purposes (Luke 24:27; Hebrews 1:1–3; Revelation 22:20).
We affirm the sufficiency of Scripture for counseling and support the biblical counseling model as defined by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We reject integrationist models, trauma-centered approaches, and any form of counseling that undermines or displaces the authority of God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; Romans 15:4, 14).
Parachurch ministries like ours exist to support—not replace—the church. We are a multimedia resource ministry aimed at equipping the saints, strengthening local churches, and promoting doctrinal faithfulness across all of life (Ephesians 4:11–16; Colossians 1:28–29; 2 Timothy 2:2).
We believe that unity among believers must be grounded in truth. While we reject doctrinal compromise, we seek to walk in love toward all who profess Christ and hold to the essentials of the faith. We believe in practicing discernment with grace and speaking the truth in love (John 17:17–23; Ephesians 4:15; Romans 14:1–9).
While we reject the excesses of the modern charismatic movement, we do not believe continuationists are necessarily unbiblical or unregenerate. We aim to uphold biblical fidelity and Christian charity, hoping all things and correcting in love according to God’s Word (1 Corinthians 13:6–7; 1 Thessalonians 5:19–21; 2 Timothy 2:24–26).
We believe that discernment and apologetics ministries must exist in service to the church—not apart from or against it. All efforts must aim to build up believers in the truth, call people to repentance, and be accountable to sound doctrine and the local church (1 Thessalonians 5:21–22; Titus 1:9; 2 Corinthians 10:3–5).
We are a reformed and confessional ministry that affirms the historic creeds and confessions of the Christian faith. We hold to the doctrines of grace, the sufficiency of Scripture, and the centrality of Christ in all things. We believe these truths are essential for faithful ministry (Romans 11:36; Ephesians 2:8–10; 2 Timothy 1:13–14).
May all who read this statement be encouraged to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. May this ministry serve the church with joy and conviction, holding fast to the truth and making much of Christ until He comes again (2 Peter 3:18; Revelation 22:20; Jude 24–25).
