What is AI “prophecy” and digital divination?

Apps or tools that claim to deliver ‘words from God’ by algorithm. Scripture forbids divination (Deut 18:10–12) and God has spoken finally in His Son (Heb 1:1–2).

What’s wrong with mystical revivalism without repentance?

Atmosphere and emotional highs without preaching Christ and calling for repentance (Luke 24:47) is not revival. It’s a concert—and concerts don’t save souls.

How do progressive reinterpretations of Scripture harm the church?

They read the Bible through cultural lenses, reshaping God’s truth. Jude 3–4 calls us to contend for the once-for-all faith, not redefine it.

Why is influencer-driven Christianity risky?

It replaces local, accountable discipleship with personality-driven content. True growth happens in the local church (Prov 27:17; Heb 10:24–25).

Show Summary

On today’s episode of The Weekly Watch, Dave Jenkins exposes four fast-growing spiritual fads Christians should avoid in 2025—and shows how Scripture equips believers to stand firm:

AI “Prophecy” & Digital Divination (Deut. 18:10–12; Heb. 1:1–2)
Mystical Revivalism Without Repentance (Luke 24:47)
Progressive Reinterpretations of Scripture (Jude 3–4)
