Episode Notes
Welcome back to Warriors of Grace. My name is Dave Jenkins, and it’s a privilege to be with you today. We’re continuing our series “Challenges Men Face Today.” We’ve considered lust, passivity, anger, fear, technology, success, fatherhood, brotherhood, contentment, and pride. Today, we’re going to address something that many men face in silence: discouragement and depression.
Psalm 42:5 — “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation.”
2 Corinthians 4:16–18 — “So we do not lose heart… For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
These passages teach us that in discouragement, we lift our eyes to God, His presence, His promises, and His sustaining grace.
