By Dave Jenkins | Reading the Bible Daily with Dave | March 27, 2026
Show Summary
Psalm 47 is a triumphant call to worship the sovereign King over all the earth. In this episode of Reading the Bible Daily with Dave, Dave Jenkins explains how Psalm 47 celebrates God’s universal kingship, summons the nations to praise Him, and ultimately points forward to the victorious reign of Jesus Christ. This psalm lifts our eyes beyond ourselves and reminds us that the Lord is not a local or tribal deity, but the exalted King over all peoples, all nations, and all the earth. Because Christ has ascended in victory and reigns now at the right hand of the Father, believers can worship with joy, confidence, and hope.Audio Player
