Full Article

I once tried to blend Christianity with New Age spirituality. I celebrated Buddha’s birthday at a Buddhist temple and also celebrated the birth of Christ. I believed I was being kind, loving, and inclusive—but I was deceived. Scripture makes clear that such blending is idolatry.

At the heart of New Age universalism is the belief that all paths and deities lead to the same destination. The Bible teaches otherwise. God is holy, truth is revealed, and salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ.

In 2017, the Lord opened my eyes to know that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. Forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God come only through repentance and faith in Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Sincerity cannot save. Christ alone saves.

My prayer is that this testimony would encourage those leaving deception and strengthen believers to stand firm in the sufficiency of Christ and the authority of God’s Word.
