“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”

The Reformation points us back to Christ and His Word. Always Reforming means holding fast to Jesus generation after generation.
Exposition and Teaching
- Receiving Christ as Lord (Colossians 2:6)
We receive Christ Jesus as Lord. Salvation is Christ-centered, not church-centered. Confessing Him as Lord means trusting, obeying, and following Him. - Walking in Him (Colossians 2:6)
Faith is a lifelong walk. To walk in Christ is daily dependence on Him, shaped by His Word. The Christian life is not reforming Christ’s Word to fit us—it is reforming our lives to fit His Word. - Rooted and Built Up in Christ (Colossians 2:7)
Rooted with deep foundations, built up toward maturity, established and steady amid false ideas and cultural pressure. - Abounding in Thanksgiving (Colossians 2:7)
True reform leads to humility and gratitude, pointing away from self to the glory of God in Christ.
Application
- Always Reforming = Always Returning to the Word
Every generation must recover, apply, and live by Scripture. Guard against error and complacency. - Always Reforming = Always Clinging to Christ
Programs and trends come and go, but Christ remains. Reform aims at deeper faithfulness to Him. - Always Reforming = Always Grateful
Reformation is not merely conflict—it is joy in Christ. Gratitude fuels perseverance and witness.
