Why was seeking Baal-zebub such an offense to God?

Yes. Idolatry is not only bowing to images but placing trust, hope, or devotion in anything above God — such as money, success, relationships, or self-reliance.

Elijah reminds us to speak God’s truth clearly and courageously, even when it’s unpopular. Christians today are called to proclaim Christ with boldness and trust in God’s Word.
