Scripture Is the Final Word

The sufficiency of Scripture means that God’s Word provides believers with everything necessary to know God, understand salvation, grow in godliness, and become thoroughly equipped for every good work.The Bible does not provide technical instructions for every task or occupation. It does, however, provide the authoritative framework through which Christians must understand God, humanity, truth, morality, relationships, work, worship, suffering, sanctification, and the purpose of life.Scripture cannot be treated as merely one voice among many. Nothing possesses equal authority with the Word of God, and no area of life that Scripture addresses can be placed outside its jurisdiction. Because Christ is Lord over all, His Word must remain the final word over all.
