2 Chronicles 12: Rehoboam Humbled by Egypt
🎙️ Reading the Bible Daily with Dave
📅 Tuesday, October 28, 2025 | 📖 2 Chronicles 12
Show Summary
Yesterday in 2 Chronicles 11, Rehoboam strengthened his kingdom through fortified cities, faithful priests and Levites, and obedience to God’s Word. For three years Judah walked in the ways of David and Solomon. Today, in 2 Chronicles 12, we see what happens when Rehoboam forsakes the Lord. Egypt invades under King Shishak and Judah is humbled. Yet when they repent, God shows mercy—His discipline is fatherly love that calls His people back to Himself.
