Psalm 36: God’s Steadfast Love Surpasses Human Sin
By Dave Jenkins | March 16, 2026
Show Summary
Psalm 36 presents a striking contrast between the depth of human sin and the immeasurable steadfast love of God.
In this episode of Reading the Bible Daily with Dave, Dave Jenkins walks through Psalm 36 and explains how David moves from exposing the deceitfulness of the wicked heart to celebrating the greatness of God’s mercy, faithfulness, righteousness, and justice.
This psalm reminds us that while sin reveals the corruption of the human heart, the steadfast love of the Lord rises far above it. God’s people find refuge under His wings, drink from the fountain of life, and see light in His light. Ultimately, Psalm 36 points us to Jesus Christ, in whom God’s steadfast love is fully revealed.
