What are the main themes of Psalm 119:17–32?

Illumination by the Spirit (v.18), endurance and revival through God’s Word amid sorrow (vv.25–28), and obedience flowing from an enlarged heart (v.32).

What does “enlarge my heart” mean in Psalm 119:32?

It describes God’s gracious work to expand our affections and capacity to love His commands, so that we not only walk but run in obedience.

How does this passage point to Christ?

Jesus is the Living Word who perfectly obeyed, sustains the weary with His Word, and gives new life so believers run in God’s ways.

How can I apply Psalm 119:17–32 this week?

Pray v.18 before reading Scripture, use vv.25–28 as prayers when weary, and commit to the ‘way of faithfulness’ by meditating on God’s testimonies daily.
