Job 28: Where True Wisdom Is Found

In Job 28, the tone of the book shifts as Job pauses to ask one of Scripture’s most searching questions: Where can true wisdom be found? Though human beings can dig deep into the earth and uncover gold, silver, and precious stones, we cannot mine our way into the wisdom of God. This chapter reminds us that wisdom cannot be purchased, discovered by effort, or achieved by intellect—God alone knows the way to it. And Job brings us to the climactic conclusion: “The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom” (Job 28:28).Audio Player
