Episode Notes
Question: How do Wicca and witchcraft present themselves as harmless or empowering today?
In this Q&A, Doreen Virtue explains that occult practices often appear “safe” because they are:
- Normalized and marketed as trendy—especially on social media
- Packaged as self-care or healing for those desperate for relief
- Promoted as feminine empowerment through “divine feminine” language
- Framed as nature-based spirituality that blurs the Creator-creature distinction
- Presented as intuition or psychic development that draws people deeper into deception
Scripture warns that deception often comes clothed in appealing language, disguising rebellion against God as enlightenment. As the apostle Paul writes:
“Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14
This episode offers a sober pastoral warning—especially for parents—to guard their homes, protect their children, and stay far from Wicca and witchcraft in any form.
Key Scripture
- 2 Corinthians 11:14
