Trusting God’s Faithfulness in Hard Times (From New Age to Christ)

In this episode of New Age to Christ, we reflect on one of God’s most comforting attributes—His faithfulness. After years in the deception of New Age and New Thought teaching, true peace and lasting hope are found only in Jesus Christ. We look at Hebrews 10:23 and 2 Timothy 2:13 to remind our hearts that while people fail us, God never breaks His promises.

Listen or watch:

Scripture

Hebrews 10:23 — “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

2 Timothy 2:13 — “If we are faithless, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny Himself.”

Today’s Focus: God’s Faithfulness

God’s faithfulness means He always keeps His promises. He may not answer our prayers in the way we expect or on our timetable, yet His character never changes. Remembering His past faithfulness strengthens present trust—especially in seasons of suffering.

Reflection Questions

  1. When has God shown His faithfulness in your life in an unexpected way?
  2. How can remembering that help you trust Him right now?
