God Needs Nothing: Why His Self-Sufficiency Is Your Security
God is not sustained, strengthened, completed, or supplied by anything outside Himself. He is completely sufficient in Himself. Far from making God distant, His self-sufficiency gives Christians a firm foundation for security, rest, trust, and worship.

God Is Not Dependent
Acts 17:24–25 teaches that the God who made the world and everything in it is not served by human hands as though He needed anything. God does not depend upon human effort, contribution, strength, worship, or service. He is not lacking anything, waiting for something to be added, or relying upon anything outside Himself.This does not mean that God is inactive, detached, or unconcerned. It means that He is completely independent. His being does not rise or fall according to our response. He is fully and eternally God.God Owns Everything
Psalm 50:10–12 declares that every beast of the forest belongs to God, along with the cattle on a thousand hills. The world and all its fullness belong to Him. Nothing we give enriches God. Nothing we offer completes Him. Nothing we do strengthens Him.Our worship does not supply something God lacks. It responds to who He already is. Christian obedience is not an attempt to sustain God, but a grateful response to His grace, goodness, and revealed character.His Self-Sufficiency Makes His Love Secure
If God depended upon us, His relationship with us would be fragile. If He needed our consistency, our inconsistency would destabilize everything. If He needed our contribution, our weakness would become a problem for Him.God does not love His people because He needs something from them. He has freely chosen to set His love upon them on account of Christ. His love is not driven by deficiency, performance, or human usefulness. It is grounded in His own unchanging character.God is not reluctantly present with His people. He is willingly present. He is not bound to them by need, but binds Himself to them by His grace.God Is Sustaining You
Many Christians live under the pressure of feeling that everything depends upon them. They believe they must hold everything together, maintain God’s work, or supply something that is missing.Scripture gives us a better foundation. You are not sustaining God. God is sustaining you. You are not holding His plans together. You are not maintaining His purposes. You are receiving from the God who lacks nothing and faithfully upholds His people.This truth does not remove Christian responsibility or make obedience irrelevant. It frees believers from the burden of trying to sustain what was never theirs to sustain.God Is Never Depleted
Human strength rises and falls. People become tired, drained, overwhelmed, and depleted. God never does. He never runs low on strength, reaches the edge of His ability, or becomes exhausted by the needs of His people.Christians are not drawing from a limited source. God is never strained by their burdens or weakened by their dependence. His love is never reduced, worn down, or exhausted because it flows from His fullness rather than from need.What You Will Learn
