On this Christmas Day, we turn to Esther 4, one of the most pivotal chapters in the book of Esther. As Haman’s decree threatens God’s people, we see the Lord’s providence at work, calling Esther to courageous obedience “for such a time as this.” Though God’s name is not mentioned in Esther, His sovereign hand is unmistakable, and this passage ultimately points us to Christ’s perfect intercession and deliverance.Audio Player

Thanks for joining me today on Reading the Bible Daily with Dave. On this Christmas Day, as we remember the birth of our Savior, let Esther’s courage remind you that God sent His Son at just the right time, for such a time as this. Tomorrow, we’ll study Esther 5, Esther’s Bold Approach, where we’ll see how faith in action opens the way for God’s deliverance. Until then, stay anchored in Scripture, steadfast in faith, and confident in the God who placed you right where you are, for His glory.Dave Jenkins is happily married to his wife, Sarah.
