Faith Tested

⏱️ Estimated Reading Time: 2 min read

On today’s Warriors of Grace show, Dave continues the Snapshots of Grace series, looking at Hebrews 11:17-19 and the purpose of God in trials, devotion to God, and why the key to accepting God’s word is to realize that God’s glory is higher than man’s good.

What you’ll hear in this episode

God’s purpose is the strengthening of faith by trial, the proving of faith by means of tests that God himself provides.
Why devotion to God is at the heart of his law.
Why the same faith that receives and relies upon God’s Word in the promise is obligated to receive and obey God’s Word in the command.
The key to accepting God’s Word is to realize that God’s glory is higher than man’s good.
