Why did David flee instead of staying to fight Absalom?

David fled Jerusalem not out of cowardice but faith. He sought to protect the city from civil war and trusted God with the outcome.

How does 2 Samuel 15 point to Jesus Christ?

David's weeping on the Mount of Olives foreshadows Jesus' anguish in Gethsemane. David trusts God's plan; Jesus fulfills it perfectly.

What can Christians learn about leadership from this chapter?

True leadership is rooted in humility, truth, and trust in God—not manipulation or personal gain, as seen in Absalom’s rebellion.
