📖 Reading the Bible Daily with Dave
June 5 – 1 Samuel 17:1–30
In today’s episode of Reading the Bible Daily with Dave, we study 1 Samuel 17:1–30, where the tension rises before David ever confronts Goliath. While Saul and Israel are paralyzed with fear, David arrives on the scene with confidence in the Lord, not in himself.
This passage reminds us that real courage comes not from self-assurance but from a deep trust in the living God. Faith sees God, not giants.
🔍 Key Themes
- Faith vs. Fear: Saul and the army tremble, but David trusts God.
