Text, Ezra 7:1–28 (ESV)
In Ezra 7 we finally meet Ezra, the priest, scribe, and reformer whom God raises up to lead His people by the Word. His life models a pattern every Christian needs, to study the Word, obey the Word, and teach the Word, trusting the good hand of God.

Conclusion
Thanks for joining me today on Reading the Bible Daily with Dave. Ezra 7 reminds us that spiritual renewal begins with the heart, a heart set on knowing and living God’s Word. May we, like Ezra, seek the Lord with undivided devotion, confident that His good hand will be upon us.
Tomorrow, we will continue in Ezra chapter 8, where Ezra leads a new group of exiles on the journey to Jerusalem,
depending entirely on God’s protection and grace.
