Christ Is Central to the Christian Faith

Christianity is not merely morality, religion, or theology as information. Christ Himself stands at the center. As Colossians 1:17–18 teaches, Christ is before all things, all things hold together in Him, and He is preeminent over all things. Hebrews 12:2 likewise calls believers to look to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.The gospel is not centered on human effort. It is centered on Christ alone: His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection. Salvation exists because of who Christ is and what He has accomplished for His people.

Keeping Christ at the Center

All true theology points to Christ. The Trinity, salvation, hope, the church, and God’s redemptive plan direct us to the Lord revealed in Scripture. The Christian life is not merely about affirming truths intellectually; it is about trusting Christ, depending on Him, obeying Him, and following Him.When Christ remains at the center, believers gain clarity, perspective, and stability. Everything else shifts, but Christ does not. Keeping Christ at the center leads us to worship, humility, confidence, and endurance.

• Daily life is to be built around following and trusting the Lord.
• Christ is our source of hope and stability.

Christianity is ultimately about Christ alone: who He is, what He has done, and why He matters. When believers keep Christ at the center, everything else finds its proper place.
