“Disordered desire has always been the devil’s playground,” Augustine once confessed. Today, pornography is lust’s modern disguise.
We face a crisis of immense proportion. According to Barna, over 60% of Christian men and nearly 40% of Christian women report struggling with pornography regularly. The average age of first exposure is about 11 years old. Tragically, many churches do not actively help people overcome this issue.
These statistics hide real souls, marriages, and families at stake. The battle is raging in hearts and homes worldwide.
Pornography is not just a behavior problem—it is idolatry of the heart, a rejection of God’s design for intimacy, love, and covenant.
Jesus warns us that lustful intent is adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). The gospel saves us not only from sin’s penalty but from sin’s power. Jesus breaks chains here and now.
