Scientism vs Truth: Why Science Cannot Replace God’s Authority
By Dave Jenkins • Servants of Grace
Scripture Focus: Colossians 1:17
Episode Summary
In this episode of Equipping You in Grace, Dave Jenkins explains the difference between science and scientism. While science is a gift from God that studies the created order, scientism is a worldview that elevates empirical method into ultimate authority—relocating the throne from divine revelation to what can be measured. This episode shows why scientism cannot account for morality, human dignity, logic, consciousness, or meaning, and calls Christians to recover a biblical understanding of knowledge under the lordship of Christ.
