Yesterday in 2 Kings 15, we saw rapid political turnover in Israel and Judah—brief reigns, violent assassinations, partial obedience in Judah, and idolatry in Israel. Today, in 2 Kings 16, we focus on King Ahaz of Judah and the spiritual cost of compromise. This chapter warns us against abandoning God’s Word for worldly alliances and pagan practices.
