When Truth Is Rejected
Episode Summary
What happens when truth is rejected? In this episode of Contending for the Word Q&A, Dave Jenkins explains from Romans 1:21–22 that rejecting the truth of God does not lead to freedom, clarity, or neutrality. Instead, it leads to futile thinking, darkened hearts, moral confusion, and bondage. Our culture often presents the rejection of truth as liberation from authority and accountability. But Scripture teaches that when people turn away from God’s truth, they lose the very foundation needed for clarity, morality, and true freedom. The good news is that the gospel offers something better. Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).Listen
