When the Dust Settles, Christ Remains
Political anxiety can make every election, headline, and cultural conflict feel ultimate. Yet Christians were never meant to place their hope in earthly kingdoms, political movements, or human rulers. In this episode of Equipping You in Grace, Dave Jenkins concludes this series on politics, discernment, fear, tribalism, political idolatry, kingdom theology, and Christian hope. Drawing from Hebrews 13:14, Psalm 146, Psalm 2, Colossians 1, 1 Timothy 2, and Philippians 4, Dave explains why biblical hope is anchored in the unchanging reign of Jesus Christ.Christians should care about truth, justice, and faithful public engagement. But we must not become emotionally enslaved to political outcomes. Christ reigns, His kingdom is secure, and our future is safe in Him.In This Episode

Hope That Outlasts Every Political Moment
Christians need not be indifferent to public life, nor should we retreat from truth, justice, or faithful citizenship. But politics is important without being ultimate. No election can overthrow Christ’s reign. No government can destroy His kingdom. No cultural instability can cancel the promises of God.When the dust settles politically, Christ remains. His gospel still saves, His church still belongs to Him, and His kingdom endures forever. That truth frees Christians to live with peace, courage, sobriety, and faithful hope.Continue Listening or Watching: Explore more episodes of Equipping You in Grace | A Biblical Podcast for Christian Living or watch the Equipping You in Grace YouTube playlist.Dave Jenkins is happily married to his wife, Sarah, and lives in beautiful Southern Oregon.
