Why is Perennialism dangerous for Christians?

Perennialism replaces biblical truth with mystical ideas, promotes self-realization over salvation, and undermines the authority of Scripture. It confuses believers by blending Christian language with false spiritual philosophies.

How is Perennialism entering the Church today?

Perennialism often enters through spiritual formation trends, popular counseling practices, contemplative prayer, and books or influencers who use vague language about divine union and inner awakening.

What is the biblical response to Perennialism?

Christians should reaffirm the exclusivity of Christ, expose false teaching, train in biblical discernment, and proclaim the gospel of grace. Scripture—not mystical experience—is our final authority.

What Bible verses address these issues?

Key passages include John 14:6, 1 Timothy 4:1, Matthew 7:13–14, Hebrews 1:1–2, Colossians 2:8–10, and Romans 12:2. These verses affirm the exclusivity of Christ and warn against false doctrines.
