What happened in Genesis 3?

Genesis 3 records the Fall of humanity, where Adam and Eve disobeyed God after being deceived by the serpent. This introduced sin, death, and spiritual separation from God into the world.

What does 'Did God really say?' mean?

The serpent’s question in Genesis 3:1 is an attack on the authority of God’s Word. It introduces doubt about God’s truth and goodness, which leads to disobedience and spiritual deception.

What is the Fall of Man?

The Fall of Man refers to Adam and Eve’s first sin in Genesis 3, which resulted in humanity’s sinful nature, broken relationship with God, and the need for redemption through Jesus Christ.

How does Genesis 3 relate to today’s culture?

Genesis 3 explains the root of modern confusion about truth, identity, and morality. The same pattern of questioning God’s Word continues today in cultural and theological debates.

What is the promise in Genesis 3:15?

Genesis 3:15 contains the first promise of the gospel, where God declares that the offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head, pointing forward to Jesus Christ’s victory over sin and Satan.
