The Bible teaches that the conscience can be good, weak, defiled, or seared. A trustworthy conscience is one that has been trained by the truth of God’s Word.Looking at 1 Timothy 1:5, 1 Timothy 4:2, Romans 2:15, 1 Corinthians 8, and Hebrews 9:14, this episode considers how believers can grow in discernment, respond to conviction with repentance, exercise humility in matters of Christian liberty, and live in the cleansing grace of Christ.Jesus Christ not only forgives the sins of His people; through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, He cleanses their consciences so that they may serve the living God.
