What is the storyline of Scripture?

The storyline of Scripture can be summarized through creation, fall, redemption, and consummation. This framework helps Christians understand why the world exists, why it is broken, how sinners are redeemed through Christ, and where history is going.

Why does the storyline of Scripture matter for the Christian worldview?

The storyline of Scripture gives Christians a biblical framework for understanding reality. It teaches that reality begins with God, that sin explains the world’s brokenness, that redemption comes through Christ alone, and that history is moving toward the return of Christ and the renewal of all things.

How does creation, fall, redemption, and consummation help Christians think clearly?

Creation grounds truth, identity, and purpose in God. The fall explains sin and brokenness. Redemption points to salvation in Christ alone. Consummation gives Christians hope as they await the restoration of all things in Christ.
