Episode Summary
Proverbs 7 provides one of Scripture’s clearest warnings about temptation and the progression of sin. Solomon illustrates how temptation rarely begins with open rebellion but instead develops through small compromises, wandering hearts, and the persuasive deception of sin. This chapter exposes the true nature of temptation by revealing both its subtle beginnings and its devastating end.In this episode of Reading the Bible Daily with Dave, Dave Jenkins walks through Proverbs 7, explaining why God’s Word is our first defense against temptation, how wisdom guards our hearts, and why sin always promises more than it can deliver. Above all, Proverbs 7 points us to Jesus Christ, who perfectly resisted temptation, obeyed the Father without fail, and through His finished work enables His people to walk in wisdom and holiness.Listen or Watch
