Why focus on God’s omnipotence rather than personal empowerment?

Scripture calls believers to trust the Lord’s power, not their own (Proverbs 3:5; Ephesians 1:19–20). Chasing self-empowerment mirrors New Age deception, while resting in God’s strength brings peace and obedience.

What Scriptures does this episode highlight?

Proverbs 3:5–6, Jeremiah 32:27, Matthew 11:28–30, and Ephesians 1:19–20—each showing God’s power and our call to trust Him.

How can I respond to this message today?

Pray and surrender specific burdens to the Lord, asking Him for strength. Consider the reflection question: Which burden are you willing to give to our all-powerful God?
