What is Progressive Christianity?

Progressive Christianity is a movement that redefines core Christian doctrines by elevating personal experience and cultural consensus above the authority of Scripture. It often denies the inerrancy of the Bible, reinterprets moral teachings, and presents a different gospel.

Why is Progressive Christianity dangerous?

Progressive Christianity undermines confidence in God's Word, distorts the gospel, and leads to doctrinal confusion and moral compromise. It may appear compassionate but ultimately replaces the biblical Jesus with a counterfeit.

How should Christians respond to Progressive Christianity?

Christians should respond by knowing Scripture well, teaching the whole counsel of God, engaging with grace and truth, and guarding their hearts against messages that contradict God's Word.

The Lie of Progressive Christianity: Undermining the Authority of Scripture

Progressive Christianity often promises freedom, inclusivity, and relevance—but beneath the surface, it undermines the authority of God’s Word.
In this episode of Equipping You in Grace, Dave Jenkins exposes how Progressive Christianity flows from deconstruction, redefines core doctrines, and empties biblical truth of its meaning.
He contrasts this with the unshakable authority of Scripture and provides practical, pastoral guidance for standing firm in the truth with grace and conviction.
