Hebrews 12:1–2 calls believers to run with endurance by looking to Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of our faith.” Colossians 3:1–2 further instructs Christians to seek the things above and set their minds on Christ rather than on earthly things.What we focus on shapes how we live. When our attention is consumed by fear, discouragement, comfort, success, or pain, we lose spiritual perspective. But as believers continually return to Christ, they are reminded of who He is, what He has done, and the hope they have in Him.Christians keep their eyes fixed on Christ by intentionally directing their hearts and minds toward Him through the means of grace.
