Isaiah 6: The Holy God Who Cleanses and Sends

God Is Holy Beyond Comparison
Isaiah sees the Lord seated on His throne, high and lifted up. The seraphim proclaim, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6:3). God is perfectly pure, completely righteous, and utterly set apart from all creation.God’s Holiness Exposes Human Sin
When Isaiah sees the Lord, he cries, “Woe is me!” Having pronounced woes upon the rebellious people in Isaiah 5, Isaiah now sees his own uncleanliness before the holy God.
