Episode Summary
Our culture offers countless answers to the question of identity. Many believe identity is determined by feelings, experiences, or self-expression. Scripture presents a very different foundation. In this episode of Contending for the Word Q&A, Dave Jenkins explains that identity begins with God, not ourselves. Looking at Genesis 1:27, he shows why every person is created in the image of God, why our identity is received rather than invented, and how the gospel restores believers through Jesus Christ.Rather than building our lives on shifting emotions or cultural trends, God’s Word provides the only lasting foundation for knowing who we are and why we were made.Listen
