What is gospel clarity?

Gospel clarity means faithfully proclaiming the biblical gospel with accuracy, boldness, and love. It emphasizes a holy God, sinful humanity, Christ's substitutionary death, and salvation by grace through faith alone.

Why is gospel clarity important today?

In a time when many churches are drifting toward vague, therapeutic, or symbolic messages, gospel clarity protects the truth and preserves the only message that saves.

What are some common distortions of the gospel?

Common distortions include the therapeutic gospel (which emphasizes emotional healing over sin), the moralistic gospel (which stresses behavior over grace), and the deconstructed gospel (which rejects truth and certainty).

How can churches promote gospel clarity?

Churches can promote gospel clarity by preaching sound doctrine, reforming worship around the cross, discipling with biblical depth, equipping leaders to defend truth, and creating a culture that values theological conviction.

What Scripture supports gospel clarity?

Key passages include 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, Galatians 1:6–9, Romans 10:17, and 2 Timothy 4:2—all of which emphasize preaching Christ crucified and holding firm to sound doctrine.
