How should Christians test claims of healing and deliverance?

By examining teachings and practices against the whole counsel of Scripture (Acts 17:11; 1 John 4:1), seeking a biblical church context and qualified oversight.

Are miracles required to validate the gospel?

No. Scripture shows the gospel’s power is not contingent on miracles (e.g., Acts 13). Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone.

What are red flags of counterfeit deliverance?

Manipulation, extra-biblical techniques, pay-to-minister claims, sensationalism, and teaching that conflicts with clear biblical doctrine.
