Series: Reading the Bible Daily with Dave
Host: Dave Jenkins
Date: Saturday, December 27, 2025
Passage: Esther 6 (ESV)
Show Summary
In Esther 6, the story turns dramatically through what looks like coincidence but is actually God’s providence in motion. A sleepless king, a forgotten record, and an unexpected honor reveal that the Lord is always working, even in the smallest details. This chapter is a masterclass in divine reversal, the proud are humbled and the humble are exalted.

Outro
Thanks for joining me today on Reading the Bible Daily with Dave. In Esther 6, we’ve seen the great reversal how God humbles the proud and exalts the humble through His unseen hand.
Tomorrow, we’ll study Esther 7, “Justice at the King’s Table,” where the truth comes to light and God’s providence brings judgment and deliverance. Until then, stay anchored in Scripture, steadfast in faith, and confident in the God who works all things for His glory.
