Trusting God Amid Life’s Mysteries

Ecclesiastes 8 also points us to Jesus Christ, who entered a broken world and suffered terrible injustice. Through the cross, what appeared to be defeat became the means of redemption. The cross assures us that even when we cannot understand what God is doing, He remains sovereign, wise, and good.“Yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him.”Ecclesiastes 8:12Because the Lord has not lost control, Christians can trust Him when life feels unfair, evil appears to prosper, and answers do not come quickly.
