Series: Challenges Men Face Today
Speaker: Dave Jenkins
Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5
Show Summary
In this kickoff to Challenges Men Face Today, Dave Jenkins opens 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5 to
show that God’s will for men is holiness. Lust begins in the heart (Matt. 5:27–28), but the gospel is
stronger than lust (Rom. 6). In Christ, we’re no longer slaves to sin; by the Spirit, we grow in
self-control (Gal. 5). Dave offers four helps: Confess, Flee, Replace, and Fight Together.
