Zach Cooper is the manager of behavioral health services at Christ Community Health Services in Augusta, GA. Christ Community is a faith-based health clinic whose mission is to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and to demonstrate His love by providing quality, affordable healthcare to the underserved. Christ Community provides primary, pediatric, dental, physical therapy, and mental health care. The vision of treatment is to provide care that truly treats the whole person. Zach’s research and writing interests reflect the care that he provides and manages. Zach is interested in the overlap between spiritual and mental healthcare and has a heart for equipping Christians to think deeply about issues related to psychology, spirituality, sociology, and cultural concepts and to identify how these relate to the Christian life. Zach has a wife named Laura, a son named Davis, and a dog named Bentley. Zach attends First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, where he leads a Sunday School class and advises pastoral leadership regarding counseling and discipleship ministries.
