Dear readers of Servants of Grace,

I hope each one of you are having a wonderfully blessed Lord’s Day.

I have an amazing and exciting announcement today to share with you.

Before I share that with you, I want first to express my thankfulness to the Lord Jesus. It is only by His grace that I’ve been able to come to this point, and it is only because of His grace that I will continue in my Christian life and ministry.

Secondly, I would not be able to make this announcement without the love and support of my amazingly beautiful wife, and godly wife, Sarah. She is such a support to me, and I am so thankful to our Lord for her! Additionally, I am so profoundly grateful for my family and close friends whose support and encouragement when they heard this news encouraged my heart so considerably, I don’t have words to express it adequately.

Okay with all that said, I said I had an announcement to share and here it is. I’ve signed a book contract with H&E publishing out of Canada an excellent publisher to write my first book. The tentative title is The Word Explored: The Problem of Biblical Illiteracy and What To Do About It. The book aims to address the growing problem of biblical illiteracy and to help Christians in the pew learn to read the Bible personally and corporately in the Church (think learning to do life in the Church) and aims at the layperson in the pew.

I will have more information in the coming days on the release date and look forward to sharing with you more details about the book. In the meantime I would ask that you, please continue to pray for me as I work hard on writing this book over the next 3-5 months, including strength and faithfulness in continuing the work of Servants of Grace, Theology for Life, and our podcasts going each day to make sure that our content is biblical, personal, and practical.

I am truly thankful to each of you our readers who have supported this ministry and continue to support this ministry. Thank you for allowing us into your homes and lives.
