Standing Firm in Spiritual Warfare
Every Christian man is engaged in a real spiritual battle. Scripture does not call believers to become obsessed with spiritual warfare, nor does it allow us to ignore it. Instead, God calls Christian men to stand firm in the strength of Christ and to put on the armor He provides. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins examines Ephesians 6:10–18 and explains how Christian men can courageously face spiritual opposition, temptation, discouragement, fear, pride, anger, passivity, and the ongoing battle against sin.True strength does not come from personality, experience, confidence, or willpower. Paul tells believers to “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” Spiritual warfare exposes our dependence upon Christ and reminds us that God alone provides everything we need to stand.Listen or Watch

Stand Firm in Christ
Christian men do not fight spiritual battles through fear or self-confidence. We fight by standing firm in Christ and using the armor God provides. Truth stabilizes us. The righteousness of Christ reminds us of our standing before God. The gospel gives us stability. Faith rests in the promises of God. Salvation strengthens perseverance. The Word of God exposes lies and reveals truth. Prayer keeps us dependent upon the Lord. The Christian life is a battlefield, but God has not left His people defenseless. At the cross, Satan was defeated, sin was conquered, and death was overcome. Christ reigns, and His victory guarantees the final outcome.Stand firm. Remain vigilant. Trust Christ. Fight with courage in the strength and sufficiency of the Lord.Reflection Questions
