Christ in Psalm 108
Psalm 108 finds its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus Christ. He is the faithful King whose heart was perfectly steadfast. He trusted the Father completely in suffering and secured victory, not through military conquest, but through the cross.
Where David prayed for victory, Christ accomplished eternal triumph over sin, death, and Satan. Our confidence today rests in the finished and sufficient work of Christ alone.
