Calling Out False Teachers Biblically | NAR to Christ with Dawn Hill
In this episode of NAR to Christ, Dawn Hill examines false teaching and much more. False teaching is on the rise, which Scripture tells us will occur. There are numerous individuals who have come to be known as “discernment ministries”, calling attention to aberrant practices and false teachings that are leading many astray. Though the Bible does not mention discernment ministers, it does instruct us as Christians to use proper discernment, which includes testing the spirit that is bringing a particular doctrine or teaching. However, there is disagreement as to how loving it is to call out false teachings and to name names. Some even believe that doing such things brings division to the body of Christ and is unloving in its intent. Drawing from nearly two decades in the Word of Faith/NAR before Christ graciously led her out, Dawn responds to
common critiques and calls us back to the authority of God’s Word.
