Manhood & Theology: The Cross – “As men, we all wear a variety of hats and titles in life. Many of us are husbands and fathers, church members and church leaders, and various other titles that we hold within our respective lives. Regardless of your title or position, what must be understood, is that the way we perform in our title and position is defined by the cross.”

So You Think Theology Is Impractical? – “Theology seeks to help us understand a complex universe created by an infinitely mysterious God. That means it sometimes pursues odd questions, but those often come with unanticipated benefits.”

What is the Heartbeat of Reformed Theology – “What is the heartbeat of Reformed Theology? I wouldn’t feel the need to argue with someone who would suggest it is the Doctrines of Grace, union with Christ, or even the Solas of the Reformation. Yet, I think it is more accurate to say that Reformed theology is a system of doctrine that seeks to rightly articulate the teaching of the Scriptures for the glory of God. It is His glory that is our heartbeat, propels us to action, and the reward that we seek after.”

Six Qualities of Biblical Manhood – “Biblical manhood (pursuing godliness while retaining masculinity) is missing in the church, and the need for more godly men is necessary for the transformation of churches and families. We need men to lead, protect, and provide both physically and spiritually.”

Specific Strategies For Defeating The Deceitfulness of Sin – “Sin can outwit us, and left to our own devices, it still will. But sin cannot outwit or con King Jesus. And because he has broken its power and opened our once-blind eyes, we can now fight and resist sin’s deceitfulness with confidence that the war has been already been won.”
