How Can Jesus be God and Man? (Part 3) – “The relevance of these truths to us should go without saying. For they go to the very heart of who Christ is. Knowing these truths will greatly affect the way you view Christ and will make the Gospel accounts of His life come more alive. As such, this understanding will deepen our devotion to Christ.”

What Is Evangelism? – “When I really sit down and think about my hesitancy, though, I realize I’m being silly. Why should I be afraid to tell someone about the gospel? This is the “good news”—the greatest news anyone could ever hear, actually! Why wouldn’t I want to share all that I believe is offered—forgiveness, a relationship with God, eternal life—through Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the grave? After all, as a Christian, I believe this is of “first importance.”

Credo Magazine – The latest issue of Credo Magazine is now available. The subject matter of this issue is prayer. Check it out!

The Children of God – “The Bible often argues in “if/then” statements, and the context will help us clarify exactly what the conditions are. In this lab, John Piper shows us where to find assurance that we are the children of God.”

Showing, Telling, and the Gospel – “There is a big difference between saying in your sermon, “Christian, because of the gospel you are justified” and preaching in such a way that your hearer feels the flames of hell and then the glorious pronouncement of not guilty because of the shed blood of Christ. That is the difference between telling gospel and showing gospel.”
