Hope in His Word – “Banquet your faith upon God’s own word, and whatever your fears or wants, repair to the Bank of Faith with your Father’s note of hand, saying with the Psalmist, “Remember the word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope.”

Who Do You Say That I Am? – “This Christ is not a reflection of the current mood or the projection of our own desires. He is our Lord and God. He is the Father’s Son, Savior of the world, and substitute for our sins-more loving, more holy, and more wonderfully terrifying than we ever thought possible.”

Why The Church Needs Struggling Members – “Pride makes us hate to admit neediness of any kind, but the truth is, we need each other and ultimately, we need Christ. And sometimes our weakness offers the perfect vantage point to encourage those around us in the Lord.”

The Search for a Better Pleasure – “The world’s promises of joy apart from God are exposed to be the mere illusion they are, absolutely incapable of satisfying the desires of a soul created to enjoy God. We must believe and cling tightly to who God has revealed himself to be in Jesus. Our faith in who God is will cause a greater trust in what God has said in his word, increasing our obedience and leading to the satisfaction our soul’s desire, to the glory of God.”

Preaching and Hypocrisy – “Preaching above your head doesn’t make you a hypocrite, it makes you a human. You are a hypocrite when you preach something that you yourself are not striving for and hoping for.”

How To Live In A World That’s Shaking, Cracking and Crumbling – “We who have believed in Jesus are receiving an unshakeable kingdom. Let us be practice being thankful, let us seek his grace to overcome sin, and let us cultivate a healthy fear of God. That’s a recipe for joy!”
